How does Cityfunds ensure collateral maintenance and condition standards?

Property condition and consumer credit profiles are underwritten similar to a mortgage loan upon origination. Our team orders a full property inspection, title exam, credit history, proof of insurance, employment, etc. Material defects on inspection or credit profiles are treated as conditions and must be satisfactorily cleared prior to a closing.

Post-closing, asset servicing is primarily managed by an independent licensed mortgage sub-servicer, BSI Financial. Similar to how they service a mortgage. Our contract with homeowners grants us rights and access to monitor credit, insurance, tax, and related ownership obligations. This is handled by BSI Financial on our behalf as our sub-servicer.
