Nada brings together homeowners and investors via a wealthtech platform. The Nada team originates Home Equity Investments known as Homeshares, which are secured by a lien and instead of earning interest, the homeowner is selling additional equity in the home. Cityfunds buys these Homeshares and holds them in a portfolio until the appreciation gains are realized, typically within 10 years.
Cityfunds have a Growth mandate and are not suitable for investors looking for Income or Cash-Flow funds. Cityfunds are expected to produce periodic dividends based on liquidation events, such a sold homes or closed Homeshare accounts paid off by a refinance.
